Neuroscience at School
(16 March 2016, 10 am to 3 pm, different schools in and around Freiburg)
Neuroscientists from Freiburg will be visiting schools in and around Freiburg to offer "a different kind of biology class.” In the context of the Brain Awareness Week 2016, students have the chance to explore the brain and its functions together with scientists, who will present exciting and easily understandable exhibits relating to the latest research done at research institutes in Freiburg.

Brain Quiz and Science Slam
(17 March 2016, 8 pm, Bernstein-Werkstatt)
All research begins with a question. In neuroscience the majority of these questions are still unanswered. On 17 March 2016 the cluster of excellence BrainLinks-BrainTools and the Bernstein Center Freiburg, the two leading brain reseach facilities at the University of Freiburg are inviting the interested public to join a quiz about the capacities of the brain. To stimulate the brain cells of our guests even more, the graduate student Katharina Heining will present a short science slam about her research.
